Today Jojo draws Peeta Mellark.

This week Jojo has been drawing characters from The Hunger Games! We both saw the movie and I have now read all three books. Man, the ending of Mockingjay, am I right?

Today I asked Jojo to draw Peeta Mellark, the male tribute from District 12 for the 74th Hunger Games. Here’s what happened:

Jojo: “Here it is.”

Me: “You didn’t draw anything. That’s just eyes.”

Jojo: “Yeah, Peeta’s skill is camouflage. He’s camouflaged as a post-it note.”

Well played Jojo, well played. I guess Peeta has a lot of practice decorating post-it note colored cakes. I do like that his eyes look worried, as if he knows that no amount of camouflage is going win the Hunger Games.

Also, close your eyes Peeta. We can all see you.
