Who Charted - Episode 57 “Boogie Jams” with David Wain

Hey there sex chickens, welcome to a brand new year of Who Charted? with your Wie-Wie and your Koo-Koo! Today’s special guest is none other than writer, director, and Swedish pop sensation David Wain!

This week’s music chart (Howie promises the new theme will drop soon) comes from Entertainment Weekly’s best of 2011 list.  Beyonce offers up another countdown song, and Kulap proposes a mash-up of all songs pertaining to counting.  Can you think of any others?  Plus, we learn how to make yourself a cool new name just like Lana Del Ray.  Howard’s pick for best of 2011 may surprise you…

Our movie chart this week is Owen Glieberman’s (David knows him) picks for Worst 5 Films of the Year and the gang discusses mediocre movies.  It appears that Howard has an affinity for “Blue Crush”. Howard takes the opportunity to learn about how to be a good director. David tries to figure out who this “Raw Blow” character is, and makes a phone call to Tyra Banks.

David plays an impressive round of Chart Roulette and we all learn about the famous alumni of Shaker Heights, Ohio.  Howard can’t remember the name of one Paul Rudd, and David would really like you to go see his new movie Wanderlust.
